THE BUILD
What drew us to the Polaris General was the unique combination of go-fast UTV and utilitarian characteristics. We accomplished our overall goal of building a UTV that can comfortably maneuver high speed trails and be the workhorse/recovery UTV in the stable without many modifications. We started by upgrading the OEM springs with a set of Zbroz dual rate springs. Those paired well with the Zbroz +2 Forward A-arm kit which provided additional clearance for larger tires and an exceptional ride quality. We mounted up a set of Method MR405 beadlock wheels for strength and durability to keep us moving down the trail. Living in the great Pacific Northwest, if the vehicle meets certain requirements we can drive our UTVs on select roads. An XTC Power Products plug and play turn signal kit with horn and a 6-inch LED license plate frame met those needs. You (probably) won’t see us on the freeway in the General but a quick run to the store is a lot more fun than it used to be.
