AAM 11.8" Rear Axle Specifications

Beginning in mid-model year 2013, Ram and GM began using an AAM 11.8" rear end, along side the 11.5" that had been in service for the previous model years. Before ordering, please confirm your rear axle by comparing to the image below of a Ram 11.8" and if yours does not match this, you very likely have the 11.5.
