When installing your new gear set, you'll need a few more miscellaneous seals, shims, sleeves, etc. to complete the installation. Up until now, if you wanted to get these parts, it required purchasing an entire rebuild kit. Now, if you've got some miles or hard use on your factory differential, this is NOT a bad thing, because it is due for a rebuild.
