In the past, when it was time to upgrade the gearing in your axles, you would have to get a multitude of different parts, sometimes from different suppliers to get the job done.  Obviously, you need the ring and pinions, but then you needed bearings, seals, shims, gear bolts, and the list goes on.  NO LONGER!  Nitro Gear has simplified this process with their complete packages that includes everything you need (besides oil and a pair of hands) to upgrade the ring and pinions in your front and rear differentials.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The 4.30 ratio is the only gear package that will include an 11.8" ring gear.  All other gear packages at this time will include an 11.5" ring gear with the appropriate bearing for installation into an 11.8" factory rear end.  

AAM 11.8" Rear Axle Specifications

Beginning in mid-model year 2013, Ram and GM began using an AAM 11.8" rear end, along side the 11.5" that had been in service for the previous model years.  Before ordering, please confirm your rear axle by comparing to the image below of a Ram 11.8" and if yours does not match this, you very likely have the 11.5.  Please see our Related Products section below for 11.5" ring and pinion options.
