RT Pro 2014-2016 RZR XP 1000 Radius Rod Gusset Plate

RT Pro has set the bar for UTV chassis designs and properly reinforcing under-built OEM frames to make UTV’s in to truly race worth vehicles. They’re proud to offer this product to strengthen your RZR XP 1000’s radius rod mounts. While the XP 1000 has improved greatly on the shortcoming of its predecessors, we've still found the chassis to be surprisingly weak! This is a 100% BOLT-ON product that over doubles the strength of the OEM radius rod mount on the chassis.

Installation is simple and fitment is excellent due to professional 3D CAD design by our talented in-house engineers. The final product is a simple yet comprehensive product anyone with a garage and simple tools can install in less than a half hour. This kit is made from 3/16” American steel, laser cut and CNC bent for absolute precision every time.

The RT Pro RZR XP 1000 Radius Rod Gusset Plate fits all model XP1’s including the 4 seat models. It comes powdercoated black with instructions and all the necessary hardware for installation.

What makes the RT Pro plate different than all the others on the market?

1. At RT Pro, they like to take things to the next level in any way they can. The OEM plate and every other plate on the market are mostly flat. Our design uses as many bent edges as we can to substantially increase the plates rigidity without adding unnecessary weight.
2. Additionally, "pockets" are machined on the inside of the plate to literally LOCK the radius rods in place within the plate. This allows the bolts to simply hold the assembly together and not need to hold everything straight! This is a design they’ve proven on our RZR 900 XP gusset plates a long time ago and is a proven design used in many high-end racing cars around the world. Their special boring tool makes a counterbore that fits the OEM radius rod in perfectly or the RT Pro XP 1000 SHD Radius Rods. We also supply 3/8" flat washers with this kit to adapt the same plate to work without the recesses with any other aftermarket radius rod you may be running. You can also purchase their Inner Radius Rod Hi Misalignment Kit separately to make your 5/8" heim joint style radius rods work with this plate. (Note: these spacers are designed to work with FK JM10 or JMX10 size heim joints. They will not work with any monoball and we don't guarantee they will work with other joints.)
