The stock inlet is small and restrictive. S&B custom molded a rubber inlet with a generous radius to reduce the restriction of air as it enters the intake box. A 48% improvement over stock.

Cleanable or Dry Filters....You Pick
This kit is offered with two types of filters: silicone (cleanable) or dry (disposable). Since you are not sacrificing performance with either choice, the decision comes down to would you rather throw away the filter or clean it.

One Kit Fits All Model Years
Many other intake manufacturers have multiple part numbers to cover 2011-2014 model years. The S&B intake comes with both MAF and Pressure Sensor mounting hardware, so you can fit all of the model years with only one intake part number.
