THE BUILD
Right out of the gate we were blown away with how well the JL handled over its predecessor the JK. After Cooper gave Punk’n a good stock shakedown it was time to get to work. One thing that is impressive about the JL is we were able to fit 40-inch tires with just a 2.5-inch lift kit from Teraflex. It’s no secret that use and abuse our vehicles which is why we threw as much strength at the axles as we could. We eliminated the FAD (front axle disconnect) with a set of RCV axle shafts and added Dana Spicer 5.38 gears. Protecting the underside of Punk'n is Artec Industries bellypan. We always like to go prepared which is why this JL is equipped with a Warn winch.
